The importance of the book
This book contains valuable historical information not found in other books, including:
Information about the beginning of Persian poetry and the first Persian-speaking poets (which appeared in the court of Jacob Leith)
A recitation of the hymn of Kirkoy fire temple, which is perhaps one of the oldest hymns in Persian or a dialect very close to it..
Two references to the book are closed (Of course, in the distorted form of Ibn Dahshti) which is one of the most important surviving works in the Pahlavi language, and as far as we know, this is the only old Persian book that has made such a reference..
Also the author of occasional references to the great Shahnameh (And now missing) Abul Moayed Balkhi has done and wrote some materials based on it. But it is not exactly clear whether he quoted 100% or something like that or only used its contents.

Book correction
An accurate and clear version of this book is still not available, and the current version has been corrected by Mohammad Taghi Bahar from a wrong and incomplete version with great pain.[Requires resource] The title "History of Sistan" was also chosen by Malik al-Shaara Bahar for it, and its title is not mentioned in the text of the book..
For the first time, this collection was published in the old Iran newspaper (From number 474 to 564 dated 1299 to 1302 lunar year) It was printed and later due to the change of times, the original of what was printed as a footnote fell into the hands of Malek Al-Shaarai Bahar and he corrected it with the same unique copy and provided it to the Iranian Ministry of Education for printing..
Mohammad Taqi Bahar has written a valuable introduction to this book and has described the prose features of this ancient book and given its ancient words..
