Farsi is a language that is still spoken by people in Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.. This language is the language of the unity of the Iranian nation, it should be given importance.

I just returned from a trip to Azerbaijan, Kurdistan and Khuzestan. During this trip, the necessity of education and teaching in mother tongue was discussed in several places. Advertising for education and teaching in local languages ​​in a country whose official language is Farsi and which has such a world literature is worthy of consideration.. If in the past, when there were no newspapers, radio and television, and there was no public and free education, children whose mother tongue is not Farsi had a problem learning Persian, now with the generality of public media and television channels, and computer programs, books and libraries In general, this problem has become much less and many non-Persian children learn Persian even before going to school.. The Ministry of Education should not fall into the trap of teaching mother tongue instead of Persian. The reason for the persistence and durability of Iranian culture is the presence of different languages ​​and cultures in this vast country. Maybe without this diversity, Iran's culture would not have this greatness and stability. Persian language should also be promoted as a language connecting all native Iranian languages. This language is the language of the unity of the Iranian nation. No language should replace Persian language. While there should not be any obstacles to talk and publish in local languages. Education of children should be in Farsi language and alongside local languages, not that local languages ​​replace Persian language.. Because if everyone wants to be taught the language of their region, then how should a Baluch and Kurd talk to an Azerbaijani. Except Persian language? Therefore, the purpose of substituting the mother tongue for the Persian language is lost.

If it is supposed that everyone is familiar with the language that is spoken in their environment or was introduced to it as a child, then it is possible that someone will request that the government should allocate a budget for teaching the spoken language.. Persian language is the result of all Iranian languages, which has reached this status due to its ability to express scientific, literary and philosophical content.. There are few non-European languages ​​that have such an ability to match the time and situation of equivalents for foreign words.. The government budget should only be spent on teaching Persian, which is the national language. However, if each nation wants to speak its own language, it should not be prevented, as is the case now and in the provinces whose mother tongue is other than Persian, newspapers, magazines and radio are published in the same languages.. Government resources should only be spent on Persian language education and every Iranian should learn the national language of his homeland first, which is the language of communication between all Iranian peoples..

Language is one aspect of a nation's culture, literature, religion, philosophy, art, and common history are another part of it.. Iranians whose mother tongue is not Farsi have a common culture with Farsi in all the above cases and this language difference cannot be a factor of separation or differentiation.. The same politicians had and still have other recommendations for Iraq. That is, the division into three parts Shiite, Kurdish and Arab. A state like California, due to the large number of people who speak Spanish and have the culture of Latin America, is not culturally similar to the state of New Orleans, which has a French culture, or Alabama.. However, none of the politicians mention this major difference and consider them as a part of the United States of America due to the existence of a common language, i.e. English..

Western countries that emphasize and promote the teaching of mother tongue in Iran. They gave a black record in allowing the teaching of indigenous languages ​​in their own country. At first, the British stole many children from the colonies and took them to England to force them to learn English, and after a few years they returned them to the colonial countries so that they could be their translators and teach English to the natives.. Christian missionaries in Australia, Africa and America taught the Bible in English to the natives so that they could learn English.. The Spaniards and the Oranges made such a big deal out of the natives of South America that only Spanish and Orange became the language of this continent.. France destroyed all local languages. These countries now that the official languages ​​of their countries are widespread and have no serious competitors, they do not care about other languages, if they exist, because they do not have the ability to compete.. Currently, Palestinian children must learn Hebrew from childhood and their education is in Hebrew.

This kind of negative and false propaganda is gradually taking place in Azerbaijan and huge funds are spent on it, and its purpose is to create disunity and division among the Iranian people and break Iran as a regional power.. The internet addresses of such internet sites that advertise among non-Persian speaking provinces all go back to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey.. Two countries where Israel has an active presence.

Thirteen years ago, when I was traveling in Azerbaijan, I had never seen such advertisements. All of us, that is, the people and the government, should engage in cultural work and neutralize these false advertisements, otherwise God knows what will happen thirteen years later, while Azerbaijan has been one of the great centers of the Persian language.. Tabriz is the only city after Nishapur that has the tomb of poets. About four hundred Persian poets are buried in this cemetery and this shows the importance of this city as one of the great centers of Persian literature.. The history of Iran has two specific aspects. One is its poets and the other is its generals who have fought with foreigners and kept the borders of this country safe.. Azerbaijanis are at the top of other provinces in both aspects. Azerbaijani poets from Nizami and Qatran to Shahriar have shown their love for this land, and Azeri generals from Babak to Bakri have lost their lives in defense of this land..

Pan-Turkists who have a wide propaganda apparatus in the Republic of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. They have also targeted Iran. History shows that the Turks are one of the nations that have less tolerance than other people who lived in this region.. Genocide of Armenians, suppression and war with Kurds in Turkey, suppression of Arabs and long wars with Iran are examples of these.. Even now, the massacre of Turkish Kurds continues under various pretexts and restrictions for Armenians. Turks do not have a good relationship with Greeks and this intolerance of other cultures has become a big problem for them.

The formation of the Turkish faction should also be seen in the light of the activities of the organizations affiliated to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey. Although it is apparently due to the requests of some provinces of Iran that the Turkish language is common there, but it should be known that the driver and agent of this faction are not more than a few people who get inspiration from some sources outside the country and the rest of the representatives from the main intentions of the perpetrators. Cultural institutions should neutralize the anti-Iranian propaganda of Pan-Turkists and help the cultural activities of local languages ​​and cultures.. The parliament should approve a bill that prohibits the creation of any kind of elite organization based on ethnicity, race, or province, and the formation of any faction should only be based on a political program for all Iranian people, not a culture, sect, or language.. The government should approve a special budget in non-Persian-speaking areas and pay more attention to the establishment of cultural centers in those areas and the establishment of children's education centers, Persian language education, and Persian libraries..

The war between Iraq and Iran, which was fought with the support of the three powers of the time, namely the Soviet Union, the European Union, and the United States, was aimed at disintegrating the fledgling Islamic Republic..
