Armenia- Sassanid Fire Temple
There is a fire temple in Armenia, the type of building of which is very different from the fire temples inside Iran. The dome of the fire temple has four cylindrical columns with a diameter 1.3 Meters and height 1.8 M is stable.
A Russian team excavated the building before World War I, and a Turkish team continued to investigate the building.. A Byzantine coin has been discovered in the middle of the building.(Justin I 518-527 AD) .The stones used in the building are black basalt. No other ancient buildings in the area have been built with this type of stone.. The rocks are connected by swinging iron clasps
There were rooms around the fire temple. The southern entrance of the fire temple has a door and in its southern walls, scattered parts of the human body bone can be seen and the reason is unknown and a similar example has never been seen before.
