Intellectuals and guardians of the defense of commitment – Dr. Javad Tabatabai

In Iran, the likes of Al Ahmad and other intellectuals, who were in charge of defending commitment instead of expertise, showed signs of backwardness from both sides.:

On the one hand, they had relied to varying degrees on the dead body of the Cold War, but on the other hand, they were left-leaning intellectuals. (I use "Zedh" here in the same sense that Al-Ahmad used the term in Westernization) There were also France.

In France, the leader of the "defense of commitment" was especially Jean-Paul Sartre, but in the same France, in front of Sartre, people like Ramon Aron were not the kind of willows to shake with Sartre's winds.. In Iran, the custodians of the defense of commitment were Al-Ahmads and supporters of Sartre's existentialism, and on the other side of the stage there was an anti-Iranian party and small and large groups that were not as ignorant of anything as the complexities of human social relations, while the Roman-Eroni analogy was also on the horizon. It did not appear.

During the cultural revolution, Al-Ahmad had become a void, but the vision of his legacy "through the eyes of the brother" was still seen as sinister.. This living "brother", who had not inherited his brother's wisdom and knowledge except for his intellectual performances, was more average and dwarfed than that face in the dust mask, but all these virtues did not prevent him from The tongue should not break the palate and should not write prescriptions for the world and people.

No one asked what plan this uneducated university student is going to make to reform the university. Of course, some of the other trustees of the first cultural revolution who had gone to university were no less ignorant of the intricacies of university administration.…
