And the understanding of the nature of the new era was not done, they did not get correct knowledge about many aspects of the tradition.
These writers were especially oblivious to the destructive nature of tradition in the new era and following the disappearance of the living and generative presence of tradition, which was a characteristic of the "Ideology Age"..
It was not possible to understand and analyze this in the 19th century, and even philosophers like Hegel, who had seriously reflected on the relationship between tradition and modernity, could not examine this aspect of tradition.. Consideration of this aspect of tradition and traditional thought became possible in the 20th century with a fundamental and unprecedented change in philosophical and political thought and with the emergence of totalitarian systems..
It is obvious that the discussion about this philosophical and political thought and also referring to the conclusion that the great contemporary political thinker made on the basis of this theory is fundamental.. Hannah Arendt writes in an important essay entitled "Tradition in the New Age".:
"The end of a tradition does not necessarily mean that the influence of traditional concepts on minds has ended. On the contrary, sometimes it seems that with the loss of the vital force of the tradition and the disappearance of its initial memory, the power of these obsolete concepts and categories take on a more authoritarian nature..
It is even possible that the tradition will release all its destructive power when it has come to an end and people no longer fight it.. At least, this is the lesson that the 20th century seems to have given us with the rise of popular ideas and dogmatism, after the challenges of Marx, Nietzsche and Kierkegaard against the basic ideas of traditional religion, traditional political thought and traditional metaphysics and reversion. Conscious of the level of traditional concepts, they continued to live."

The return to self of the past four decades in Iran, as it has been repeatedly said, did not take place on the basis of rethinking the tradition based on modern thought, and in our opinion, in the coming decades, the connection with the tradition will be broken forever, because the destruction of the tradition that in the renewal of thought, It means that it has not been considered and reconsidered in renewal and modernity, it will be inevitable due to the impact of ideology..
