Pirouz Nahavandi or Abullulu

آرامگاه ابولولو

Pirouz Nahavandi or Abu Lullu was one of the Iranians in the early period of the arrival of Islam in Iran, and he was the one who killed the Sunni caliph Umar bin Khattab with a knife.. Pirouz had a daughter whose name is Marvarid. Since pearl is called pearl in Arabic language, the Arabs gave this Iranian man an Arabic name as Abu Lullu, which means "father of pearls"..

At that time, it was customary among the Arabs to choose an Arabic name for Iranian people, and this was mostly done by adding the prefix Abu (Father) They used to translate the name of one of that person's children in Arabic. In many cases, when the Iranian names of their children were difficult for the Arabs to understand, the Arabs used the Abu Sahl title to name them (It means easy father) they used.

Unfortunately, Pirouz Nahavandi was captured twice in his short life. First, he was captured by the Romans during the war between Iran and Rome, and second, during the Arab attack on Rome, he was captured by the occupying Roman greyhounds..

He was a strong man, good-looking, clear-sighted, possessing knowledge and art, who was sold in the slave market to one of the Arab nobles named Muqirah bin Shuba..

One day Omar sees him and asks him what he knows about the arts of the time. He says in response:All kinds of handicrafts, including sewing, blacksmithing, carving, painting. Omar says, I have heard that you can build a mill that grinds wheat into flour using the wind. Pirouz says: Yes, Amir al-Mominin. Omar asks, can you build such a mill for me? Pirouz says in response: "O great caliph! If I am alive, I will build such a mill for you that all people in the east and west of the world will talk about it.

And Umar tells his companions at the same time that this slave made me very scared with his words and at that time he buys Pirouz from his owner to take him into his service..

Omar's murder happened two years after the famous war of Nahavand, which was the last battle between Arabs and Iranians. The Arabs called that war Fatah al-Futuh. And after two years, the Arabs brought the Iranian prisoners of war to Madinah in the form of herds of animals tied together and chained.. Those days, when the captives entered the city, Pirouz stood in front of the gate and looked at the captives. The condition of the captive women and the visit of the young children who were weak from hunger and thirst and were in pain, pained the heart of Pirouz, and Pirouz used to hug them and cry with them.. Shaabi says:"When the prisoners of war were brought to Madinah, the victor used to caress the head of every small or large captive he saw and wept and said: Omar ate my liver." He, who had his heart in the love of Iran and Iranians, and had witnessed for many days the sorrows and lamentations of his fellow countrymen who are in captivity, decided to kill Omar in retaliation for the oppression of Iranians.. He had a two-edged dagger and that day he hid it under his shawl and came to the mosque. When Umar stood in front of the line of worshipers as the imam of the congregation, Pirouz quickly drew his dagger and struck Umar six times with all his strength..

One of the wounds that was created under his navel was very deep and deadly, and the Caliph of Islam died from the same fatal wound..

It is known that Pirouz went to Hormzan's house after escaping from the mosque to surrender to that Iranian general.

Obaidullah, son of Omar After his father was killed by Pirouz Nahavandi, he killed him and three other people who he believed were involved in his father's death.. These three are one Pearl of the victorious girl, Other all the time The famous Iranian general in the wars with the Arabs and the third a Christian man Hiira was named Jefineh who had friendship and friendship with Hormzan and Pirouz.

I send greetings to you .. You are the first person that I saw in your articles using many Persian words and it is interesting that you do not publish anything else … Dear Iranian, I think it is better if you write the words separately, although forgive me if I have Arabic words again .. Like you, they help a lot to bring back the Persian vases little by little . Thank you very much, although I appreciate your honesty and telling the truth … You have a very good site, it helps us to know our true self and to return and know many things. … They are dear to us, just like the winners, just like the great ones … I know and I hope people will know this very soon …
