Jamasep son of Hugo Minister Gestasb Shah (He was one of the kings of Kayani and the son of Lehrasep. Jamaseb was the wife of Poruchista, the youngest daughter of Zoroaster. Jamasep is considered one of the first Iranian philosophers.)
According to Zoroastrian traditions, Jamasep and his brother Farshushter were Zoroastrian's supporters. And Zoroastrians wear white clothes in memory of Jamasep during Bahmangan festival. In fact, with this symbolic act, the wearers of white clothes showed their distaste and innocence from any impurity and filth, bloodshed, slaughter and animal abuse, and they visited each other with bouquets of white flowers and offered these flowers to each other.. And they believe that Jamasep, the minister of Gestasb, has done these things on this day.
In the Pahlavi verse of Yadgar Zariran, Jamasp is mentioned with the adjective "Bidakhsh" which means the supreme leader.. There is also a book called Jamasabnameh in Middle Persian, which has been translated into Pazand and Farsi.. This book includes Jamasep's answers to Gestasep and has a philosophical theme.
It seems that in the Greek writings Jamasep is given as Perxasep. The sons of Jamasep were Garami and Hangurvash.
