On the promised night, fires were lit on the mountains as a sign of the beginning of the uprising, and the people who were waiting for this signal, together with the regular infantry corps under the command of Vendidad Hormuz and Major General Shervin, attacked the Tazians and destroyed the fifty military garrisons that the Tazians They had built various Mazandarans and occupied them in one day and night and killed thousands of greyhounds. It is written that Mazandaran women used to take their greyhound husbands by the beard and hand them over to Tabaristan troops to be killed by them. In this incident, most of the greyhound chiefs in Mazandaran were killed or They ran away, except for Umar bin Al-Ala, who, because he was angry with the Caliph, took refuge with the people of Tabaristan.
